Italian Citizenship by Descent
You may be eligible to apply if you have Italian ancestors - parents, or grandparents - and you can demonstrate an uninterrupted line leading to you. Even if your Italian ancestors are several generations back, you may still have a path to citizenship.
Italian Citizenship by Marriage
You may be eligible to apply if you're married to an Italian citizen and: you've been married for at least 2 years if living in Italy, or 3 years if living abroad. This time is halved if you have children.
